PNS Clinical Research is a full-service Site Management Organization (SMO) that provides administrative and operational support to help facilitate Phase II-IV clinical trials. We conduct research in high-quality, fully equipped facilities located throughout Southern California.

We are currently looking for a full-time Clinical Research Assistant with phlebotomy certification to work at our office located in Orange. This is an entry-level position that would be suitable for a phlebotomist who is looking to enter the field of clinical research.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Draw blood from and perform other lab tests such as EKG and EEG on study subjects of all ages

Centrifuge, label, and store blood samples for analysis

Perform outbound calls to patients for scheduling, follow-up, and outreach

Answer inbound calls from patients

Schedule patient screening examinations, treatments, and laboratory visits required by the protocol

Screen potential patients for protocol eligibility

Assist with data entry and document management across internal and external systems

Track patient data for a variety of ongoing studies

Perform clerical duties that may include cleaning and sterilizing equipment; answering telephones; tracking inventory, shipping samples, and stocking supplies

Maintain a clean, sterile, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications and Requirements:

California State Phlebotomy Certificate or license required

Bachelor’s Degree

At least 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist

Interpersonal skills to work with patients, their families/caregivers, physicians, administrators, work colleagues, representatives from sponsors, etc.

Language Skills:

Bilingual – English/Spanish (Preferred)

Hours:

8 hour shift

Monday-Friday, occasional weekends
