    Job Description – Midwest Regional Sales Executive

    Based on growth, our client is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Executive who will focus on new business development and customer account management for the Midwest market area (OH, IL, IN) representing packaging equipment products, developing and securing NEW accounts and opportunities based on their advanced machine and production solutions for mass production of converted tissue products to customers in diverse industries primarily in the mid-market manufacturing sector.

    LOCATION: The ideal candidate would be possibly located in the Illinois, Indiana or Ohio marketplace, and support the territory from their home office, with proximity and access to our manufacturing facility in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

    The “right” Regional Sales Executive will bring 7–10 years of proven sales experience in a territory sales role requiring success in prospecting, qualifying, developing, and securing new customer accounts in the Midwest market/region. The “right” person will be motivated by a performance-based compensation model, have experience working independently in a consultative, technical, solution-oriented sales environment, and exhibit proven success in developing new customers in the manufacturing or industrial sector.

    Role Requirements

    This Regional Sales Executive role requires a results-oriented, self-directed individual with strong technical aptitude and ability to prospect, qualify, develop, and secure new business. Proven experience in territory management, new business development, and customer retention are primary success factors.

    • 70% — New Business Development & Customer Acquisition – Requires effective skills in prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating, and influencing to develop and secure NEW customers and future pipeline.
    • 20% — Existing Customer Account Management – Requires supporting, managing, mining, and retaining existing customer accounts to oversee project efforts, product installation, and problem resolution, as well as mine for new applications and ensure customer expectations are met.
    • 10% — Territory Administration – Includes territory planning, tracking accounts, CRM data management, sales administrative activities, and reporting.

    Additional Experience… Prior industry-related sales experience in packaging equipment, technical product sales, or applications is a plus. Industrial capital equipment experience is required.

    The ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license, possess a vehicle in good condition, and be able to travel frequently for business development.
