JOB OVERVIEW
The Farm Credit Council is seeking a motivated and dynamic summer intern to join our Washington D.C.-based communications team. This intern will gain hands-on experience in public affairs, digital media and reputation management within the finance and agriculture industry.
Successful applicants will have a proactive attitude, collaborative mindset and experience using social media platforms, video editing and digital content creation using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
This is a paid internship at $20/hour, with an expectation of working approximately 40 hours per week from May to August 2025. The Farm Credit Council operates on a hybrid schedule of remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in the office Tuesday through Thursday.
Any student or recent graduate of a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) selected to intern would receive an additional $3,500 stipend as part of Farm Credit’s Launching Leaders program.

The Farm Credit Council is the national trade association representing Farm Credit System institutions before Congress, the Executive Branch and others. The Council provides the mechanism for member grassroots involvement in the development of positions and policies with respect to federal legislation and government actions that impact Farm Credit.
