We are searching for a Paid Social Specialist for one of our premier clients located in San Diego, CA. This fast-growing wellness company is known for its passionate team and commitment to innovation, and is investing heavily in paid social media to fuel growth.
Based fully onsite in San Diego, the position supports the marketing team by developing, launching, and optimizing paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat. Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of experience managing Meta ads, thrive in creative and data-driven environments, and are comfortable owning strategy, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration from day one.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute paid social strategies across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat, with a focus on driving ROAS and customer acquisition.
- Manage end-to-end paid social campaigns, including audience targeting, ad creative development (in collaboration with the design team), bidding, and daily budget adjustments.
- Monitor performance and make real-time optimizations to meet campaign goals such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, and conversion volume.
- Conduct A/B testing on creative, copy, and landing pages to inform campaign improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including brand, analytics, and creative to align campaigns with broader marketing objectives.
- Analyze campaign data using platform-specific tools and third-party attribution platforms such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, and Prescient AI.
- Present insights and recommendations through regular reporting to marketing leadership.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social media campaigns with a strong focus on Meta Ads.
- Experience managing a substantial ad spend budget.
- Proven track record of meeting performance goals for ROAS, CPA, and other key metrics.
- Familiarity with social ad tools and platforms such as Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Pinterest Ads Manager.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance data.
- Experience with attribution and measurement tools such as Triple Whale or Prescient AI.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Previous in-house brand experience preferred; agency experience also welcomed.
- Experience in DTC, subscription-based brands, or health/wellness verticals is a plus.
- Must be able to work full-time onsite in San Diego.
Compensation and Perks:
- $85,000-$120,000 salary, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
