We are looking for a full time production and installation specialist to join our team in Ft. Wayne, IN. A local business for over 35 years, we specialize in high-quality finished signs and graphics. We are looking to hire creative and innovative production employees who will join our team and help our designs go from screen to reality. Unlike other production jobs, this is not one where you will be constantly doing the same work. Our production employees collaborate with our graphic designers to create unique products every day.

Responsibilities:

• Apply vinyl to various substrates in the shop and in the field.
• Work with provided hand, and power tools to cut, form, fabricate, finish, and install signs and sign components.
• Read and record measurements from rulers, tapes, calipers, and other standard measuring devices.
• Ability to perform moderate lifting.
• Translate written instruction, work orders and shop drawings into fabrication and installation activities.
• Dispatch to scheduled installs driving company vehicles to and from jobsites for scheduled work activities.
• Be an exemplary representative of PTTGI while on installs and while interacting with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
• Conduct site surveys as directed by designers and/or account managers to capture crucial information for project completion.
• Routinely work from step ladders, extension ladders, and scaffolds, following all safety guidelines.
• Occasionally drive and work from scissor lifts and boom lifts, as trained and following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn the responsibilities above from experienced team members
• Experience with construction or vinyl application is a plus
• Experience with graphic design or detailed artistic creation is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Customer service skills
• Valid Drivers license
