Job Title: Data Analyst Work Location: Remote Duration: Direct Hire Education/Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree; Quantitative field
• 1- 3 years (or equivalent) experience working in an analytical / quantitative role

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Extract and manage large amounts of data in multiple formats, conduct analyses and concisely and effectively communicate the findings in an ongoing manner
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to drive the requirement gathering, design, automation, testing and deployment of key reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collections systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Assist with database administration, data consolidation, data analysis and process documentation.
• Analyze and problem solve issues with current and planned systems as they relate to the integration and management of data

Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Excel
• Strong command of MSSQL and SQL scripting
• Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
• Works well within a small team effectively and fulfill multiple roles
• Demonstrated proficiency self-managing and delivering projects with limited oversight
• Strong mathematical and / or statistical knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and impeccable attention to detail

Desired Qualifications or Willing to Learn:

• Understanding of advanced data analytics and machine learning methodologies
• Willingness to learn and cross train with other technologies and visualization tools like DOMO
• Advanced knowledge of RDBMS systems, specifically with a knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack (MSSQL, SSIS, SSRS, Scripting capabilities in SQL / PowerShell / Python)
• Increasing levels of automation and repeatability within the database
• Ability to participate in effective data modeling design and discuss pros/cons with DBA and development staff
