Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN in a palliative care setting.
Assist in pain and symptom management to enhance patient comfort.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and chaplains.
Educate patients and families on care plans and disease processes.
Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
Active LPN license in NM.
Experience in palliative care, hospice, home health, or related field preferred.
Strong clinical skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families.
