    YOUR CAREER

    The BDR Academy is a 12-month development program designed to arm newly graduated BDR’s with Sales skills such as prospecting, lead generation, business etiquette, etc. 

    As the BDR Academy Program Manager, you are the leader for developing the curriculum and program for the Business Development Representative Academy. In this role, you will provide training and development opportunities for the Business Development organization to empower the future field sales professionals of Palo Alto Networks by setting a strong foundation for career transitions from Business Development Representative to the Field.  This position reports to the Director of Business Development.

    YOUR IMPACT

    • Create a role-specific certification program/curriculum for career progression
    • Present regular and accurate progress report of the program to the Business Development leadership team for review
    • Establish the standards for metrics for successful completion of the certification program
    • Ongoing strategic collaboration with the Sales Enablement, Sales Operations and Early Talent teams
    • Build, maintain, and execute on certification program plans and strategies
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with Business Development Managers and leadership
    • Team and collaborate effectively with District, Account, and Company peers
    • Identify and resolve issues that impede the development of the Business Development Representatives to ensure preparedness for future roles

    YOUR EXPERIENCE

    • Proven track record in exceeding sales quotas and targets
    • Ability to coach BDRs on prospecting tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom, DemandBase
    • Strong prospecting skills to include writing emails, cold calling and LinkedIn engagement
    • Saleshood and FlexLearn course building preferred
    • Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
    • Demonstrated ability to work well in a highly interactive environment
    • Passionate and achievement oriented 
    • Strong communication skills
    • Maintain focus on daily schedule and objectives and effectively set priorities
    • Solid understanding of the sales cycle in conjunction with business process externally and internally

    Disclosure required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum compensation (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) for this role to be located in the state of Colorado. If hired in Colorado, this position starts at $140,600/yr. Depending on the position offered, restricted stock units and incentive or bonus pay may be provided as part of this compensation package.
