Job Description
Responsibilities include developing, implementing, directing and managing technical training and development programs, structure and content in cooperation with the operating areas in the Stevens Point Mill Paper Business Unit.
Accountabilities
- Lead and oversee the structure and plan for delivering technical training to hourly team members in all operating areas of the Paper Business Unit including OJT’s, knowledge-based courses and any other operator skill and knowledge training.
- Provide direction to site administrator, subject matter experts, technical writers, and other training and development resources as needed.
- Work with first line supervisors to oversee execution of the training process including documentation.
- Work with Human Resources personnel on recruiting, hiring and training of new hourly employees.
- Support the shutdown LOTO efforts on both paper machines.
