Paradiso Recovery is looking for a few good candidate to join our team. We are a luxury treatment Center located in Camarillo California. We will provide rehabilitative support for clients undergoing drug and alcohol detoxification services. This position reports directly to the Director of operations and helps support all need of the program.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the groups for clients and complete group notes.
- Support clinicians and educator in monitoring group therapy sessions and activities.
- Ensure the facility is neat and tidy at all times. Light housekeeping duties include tidying up, light laundry, trash cans emptied, dishes washed, floor swept, organizing closets, wiping counter tops, etc.
- Medication observation and management during scheduled hours. Medications must be logged into the KIPU EMR system and any usual behaviors must be reported to the RN immediately.
- Conducts UA drug screen collection and processing as scheduled. Conducts vitals for all residents several times per shift, including 30-minute vitals checks on clients undergoing detox.
- Conduct thorough room and facility searches once per shift to ensure clients’ safety. Immediately report any concerning items found to Director of operations.
- Ensuring clients are signing all intake documents and completing their intake inventory.
- Maintaining line-of-sight for all clients at all times and reporting unusual behavior to the Residential Technician Supervisor.
- Routinely completes ongoing training while on shift through the Relias platform.
- Completing shift notes for each client to include the client’s day-to-day activities, usual behaviors, and any other pertinent information prior to the end of shift.
- Transports clients to and from appointments and outings
- Supervise clients during meal periods, ensuring clients are completing their chores.
- Assist in daily operations and other operational and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of one year of experience
- First aid and CPR certification
- Must have current Drivers license
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic Computer skills i.e. internet, email, and Word
Education and Experience:
- Must be a registered recovery worker with active RADT-1 certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent sitting must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time
- Must be able to lift and carry light objects and parcels as an incidental part of their job
- The position needs to occasional move about inside and outside the facility frequently
- Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery
- Frequently communicates with other employees
Job Type: Full time, Non-exempt with benefits
Pay: Hourly
Reports to: Director of operations
Job Types: Full-Time (3:00pm-11:30pm)
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
