We are a small family law firm located in Rancho Cucamonga, California with three attorneys and a staff of seven, including four paralegals and additional administrative personnel. Originally founded by respected family law attorney Alan Carlisle over two decades ago, we primarily practice in the areas of divorce, parentage, child custody, child visitation, child support, and domestic violence. The majority of our cases are based in San Bernardino County, but we also practice in the counties of Los Angeles, Riverside, and occasionally Orange.
We go to great lengths to maintain a close‑knit, friendly, and semi-casual atmosphere. The work we do can be stressful by nature, but at least we can make the office a decent place to be. In addition to the compensation listed below, our staff enjoy various office‑sponsored events such as holiday parties or even day trips, as well as birthdays and occasional office-wide lunches throughout the year. Thankfully, we have been able to maintain a very low employee turnover rate.
We are seeking a full‑time candidate who works well in a team environment. Our candidate will be preparing petitions and responses, requests for orders, declarations, disclosures, judgments, discovery and discovery responses, and related documents. Candidate must be familiar with judicial council forms and court filing procedures. Duties will also include meeting and regularly communicating with clients, interfacing with courts, and preparing settlement conference and trial documents. Our candidate will communicate with opposing attorneys and their staff, prepare correspondence, and track their billing. Scheduling and meeting deadlines, tracking and completing tasks, and efficiently resolving problems (both independently and as part of our team) will be a necessity.
Our candidate must be proficient with a Windows-based computer and possess strong typing ability. Additional proficiency in computer-based case management systems (we currently use MyCase), document preparation software (Westlaw Form Builder), electronic file management (Adobe Acrobat), and word processing (Word Perfect) is strongly preferred.
After ninety days, we offer paid holidays, up to forty hours of paid vacation time per year, a health insurance plan, retirement options, and unstructured incentive bonuses.
Please submit your resume and any further documentation you would like us to consider to support your application.
