    We’re seeking a skilled and experienced bilingual (preferably Farsi and Pashto and English) paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. Responsibilities: • Assist Lawyers in preparing legal documents, forms, pleadings, and correspondence, including correspondence such as pretrial orders, requests for evidence, legal briefs, and affidavits • Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews • Organize our case filing system to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate and other administrative duties as needed, which would include performing tasks such as scanning, copying, data entry, and organizing evidence and exhibits • Work with lawyers to prepare for court hearings and interviews by conducting research on legal issues, gathering necessary country condition reports, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings Qualifications: • Work hours Monday – Friday (onsite) • Salary commensurate with experience • Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred, strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advance paralegal education, • At least three years of experience in immigration legal services under a lawyer in a law firm setting • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Proficiency in immigration case management software • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills • Candidates must possess strong writing skills, have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task and work independently and goal-oriented • Good case/project management and organizational skills are required • Must be able to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000

    $55,000-$65,000 per year
