  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our thriving Estate Planning Department. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of paralegal experience with a strong focus on estate planning matters. This role will involve a wide range of responsibilities supporting attorneys in all aspects of estate administration, including:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Estate Administration:
      • Assisting with probate and trust administration proceedings, including gathering and organizing estate assets.
      • Preparing and filing necessary court documents, such as inventories, accountings, and petitions.
      • Communicating with beneficiaries, executors, and other interested parties.
      • Assisting with the distribution of estate assets.
    • Estate Planning:
      • Preparing estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
      • Conducting legal research and analysis.
      • Assisting with client meetings and consultations.
      • Maintaining client files and databases.
    • Other Duties:
      • Performing general administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
      • Assisting with special projects as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years of paralegal experience 
    • Strong knowledge of estate administration procedures and probate law.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of estate planning software such as Lackner.
    • Strong work ethic and a commitment to client service.

  • Compensation
    $70,000-$110,000 per year
