Paralegal (Hybrid Position) We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Paralegal to support our growing legal team. This is a hybrid position, with 3 in-office days and the rest at your home or other location. Some additional days in the office might be required for onboarding process, trial preparation or other important legal matters. 2+ years of family law experience is required. Paralegal Certification is highly preferred. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. Starting at $70,000 base salary. We also offer annual target incentive compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities: • Preparing and drafting motions, pleadings, judgments, statements, documents, and other correspondence (e.g., debt and asset lists, witness affidavits, child support worksheets, responsive pleadings, etc.) • Performing legal research • Maintaining attorney calendars and case files • Scheduling appointments, court appearances, and mediation/deposition hearings • Serving as a liaison between the client and attorney, conducting client interviews • Providing assistance in trial settings • Preparing and reviewing discovery packages, including disclosure statements, answers to interrogatories, and production requests Qualifications: • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills • 2+ years of experience in family law under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Excellent organization and time-management skills is a must • Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program is strongly preferred • ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree is desired Compensation: $70,000 base salary DOE + incentive
