Family Law is looking for a highly skilled Paralegal to support our legal team. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will play a key role in preparing legal documents, coordinating case activity, organizing filings, and supporting attorneys in and out of the courtroom. Benefits include: Bonus structure, cell phone stipend, Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance, Short term and Long term Disability, Life Insurance, Safe Harbor 401k Responsibilities: • Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed • Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits • Coordinate law office activity, including the drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers • Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions • Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews If these statements describe you, we may be the perfect fit: • You’re a natural team player and thrive in a collaborative environment. • You see organization opportunities where others see chaos. • You know when it’s okay to leave a message, but also when to persist until you reach the right person. • You smile when answering the phone because you know professionalism and warmth matter. • You have impeccable attention to detail —scheduling, organizing, and prioritizing tasks comes naturally to you. • You’re highly proficient with calendars, email, spreadsheets, and case management software. • Your middle name is “No Drama” —you stay focused and professional, even under pressure. • You’re a multitasking pro , effortlessly switching gears between tasks. • You don’t mind scanning, copying, and handling administrative tasks —you know that the little details make a big difference. Qualifications: • ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired • Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred • 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Strong oral and written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly
