  • Responsibilities

    A premier law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with prior trial experience and at least five (5) years of legal support expertise. This role demands strong organizational skills, knowledge of civil procedure, and the ability to manage high-pressure litigation cases.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Compile, prepare, and summarize materials for discovery and trial.
    • Index, track, and control case-related materials.
    • Utilize a strong working knowledge of the Oklahoma Rules of Civil Procedure and court filing processes.
    • Assist in drafting and cite-checking legal briefs, fact-checking, proofreading, and preparing exhibits.
    • Review discovery documents for relevance, privilege, and accuracy.
    • Organize and track trial exhibits, materials, and depositions.
    • Manage logistics for trial preparation, including vendor coordination.
    • Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including courtroom presentations and demonstratives.

     

    Required Skills & Abilities

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize competing demands.
    • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service.
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and legal research databases.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
    • Understanding of financial accounts, tax forms, and statistical reports.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; an Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate with five (5) years of legal experience required.
    • Proven experience conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

     

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    • Office-based role with standard legal office equipment.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
