Responsibilities: ObjectiveThe Paralegal supports the legal team by managing the day-to-day movement of personal injury and workers' compensation cases. This role ensures that all documentation, communication, and follow-through are handled efficiently and accurately to keep cases progressing toward successful resolution.Case File Management • Open, organize, and maintain digital case files in the case management system• Request and follow up on medical records, bills, and liens• Track treatment updates and maintain detailed client contact logs• Ensure all case deadlines, tasks, and follow-ups are documented and met Client Communication & Support • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the life of the case• Provide updates, request documents, and address client questions or concerns• Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings• Deliver exceptional client experience through consistent, compassionate communication Attorney Support • Draft demand letters, correspondence, and legal documents under attorney supervision• Prepare discovery responses and assist in trial prep when needed• Coordinate depositions, hearings, and expert scheduling• Communicate with insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience as a personal injury or workers' compensation paralegal • Knowledge of case management systems, Pl law, and medical record processes • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills • Ability to manage a high caseload with accuracy and care • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) Compensation: $18 per hr +
