A nationally recognized Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising practice is seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to join its team. This position will assist lawyers in the clearance and prosecution of U.S. and foreign trademark and copyright matters, including searches, enforcement, and due diligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and file electronic trademark and service mark applications with the USPTO.
- Prepare and file copyright applications with the U.S. Copyright Office.
- Independently draft domestic and international office action responses and prosecution documents.
- Communicate with foreign associates regarding international trademark matters.
- Register and manage internet domain names, both generic and country extensions.
- Handle adverse matters, demand letters, and domain name arbitrations.
- Monitor and maintain docket deadlines with accuracy.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent client service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years of trademark paralegal experience required.
- Experience in a mid-to-large law firm is required.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.

Salary Ranges:
- Washington State: $67,000–$134,000 annually
- Washington, D.C.: $72,360–$144,720 annually
