    Our Client

    Our client is a respected Virginia-based litigation firm with a longstanding reputation for excellence in workers’ compensation defense. With a deep commitment to client service and a collaborative team culture, the firm offers a dynamic environment where talented legal professionals can thrive. They are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to support a high-volume caseload out of their Richmond office. Salary is in the $55-70k range with room at the top for the right candidate. This is an in-office position, so you must be commutable to the North Chesterfield area. It is a full-time, direct-hire role with a great opportunity for growth within the firm

     

    Who We’re Looking For

    Are you a highly organized, self-motivated paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment? In this role, you’ll work closely with a lead partner to help manage an active docket of workers’ compensation matters. From drafting key legal documents to organizing case files and assisting with hearing preparation, you’ll be a critical part of the case lifecycle. You should also excel in reading medical records and writing medical summaries. If you bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to client service, this is a great opportunity to grow your paralegal career at a stable, well-regarded firm.

     

     

    What To Expect as a Workers’ Compensation Paralegal

    • Support one of the firm’s Richmond-based partners with their active workers’ compensation caseload
    • Prepare and organize legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and hearing materials
    • Highly skilled at reviewing, summarizing, and maintaining medical records and reports
    • Coordinate subpoenas, discovery responses, and trial prep
    • Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines in compliance with client guidelines
    • Work closely with attorneys and support staff in a collaborative, team-oriented setting

     

    Qualifications For Success

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a workers’ compensation or liability litigation paralegal
    • Strong familiarity with Virginia workers’ comp procedures and documentation
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with TABS and Worldox is a plus
    • Well-developed written communication skills
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
    • Professional, client-service mindset with a reliable, team-focused work ethic
