    Position Summary

    Our Paraplanner uses skills obtained through experience and training to provide direct support to Financial Advisors to assist with a wide variety of client and administrative functions. The paraplanner utilizes specialized financial planning software to provide technical support to the Lead Advisors who are in the role of delivering advice to clients. Responsibilities include data gathering, case design, plan development, and presentation. The Paraplanner may participate in client meetings but not in an advisory capacity without decision-making on client matters.

    Knowledge/Requirements

    · Preferred 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years of administrative experience

    · Prior experience preferred working in a broker-dealer office or finance industry

    · Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint proficiency to produce professional documents

    · Upholds a polished, professional and welcoming nature with external and internal business contacts

    · Ability to organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment to complete assigned tasks on time

    · Ability to work independently and in teams to complete high-priority tasks in a timely manner

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate ideas and thoughts in a clear, professional manner to managers, team members, and clients

    · Effective problem-solving skills to resolve routine client questions

    · Ability to work with e-Money Financial Planning Software

    · FBI background check and credit check required

    · Regular and timely attendance is required

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    · Coordinates with Advisor to gather data for plan creation.

    · Utilizes EMoney software and worksheets to enter data, and generate financial plans for the firm’s clients.

    · Presents financial plans to Advisors and clients while documenting all relevant notes, action items and follow-up tasks in CRM.

    · Works with Advisor, Home Office staff and Software Support to analyze data, seek recommendations and solve problems.

    · Meets deadlines to maintains service expectation turnaround times

    · Responds to incoming emails and telephone calls from Advisors and clients in a timely and professional manner.

    · Executes project-related tasks to contribute to the firm’s development

    · Coordinates and performs a wide range of staff and/or operational support activities as assigned.
