We are looking for a talented Paraprofessional to join our team for the school year.
We are hiring a Paraprofessional to work 1:1 with a student.
Rate Range: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include:
- Assist special education teachers in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with disabilities in academic and functional skill areas.
- Adapt and modify classroom materials and activities to meet diverse student learning needs.
- Support students with daily living skills, mobility, communication, and social-emotional development.
- Reinforce positive behavior strategies and assist in classroom management.
- Supervise students in various school settings, including classrooms, hallways, recess, and lunch.
- Assist with data collection and documentation of student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure student success.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with students and families.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s degree or minimum 48 college credits preferred).
- Paraprofessional certification (Title I) preferred based on district requirements.
- Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
- CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Intervention (CPI) training preferred.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
