BILINGUAL (FRENCH SPEAKING) CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDED FOR THE FALL SEASON AT NINTENDO
JOB TYPE: Contract
PAY RATE: $22.00/hour
LOCATION: Remote (MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN 50 MILES OF REDMOND, WA)
START DATES: 11/15/20

Nintendo of America is the home of the almighty Switch, the world of Wii, and the classic SNES. You already know it by your favorite titles, but now you can have the opportunity to experience Nintendo in a whole new way. Parker Staffing is partnering with Nintendo to hire strong seasonal and long-term BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES to assist consumers with a variety of questions related to their Nintendo products. These positions will start in upcoming fall classes with Nintendo's customer care teams.
WHAT WOULD MAKE ME AN IDEAL CANDIDATE?
We’re looking for someone bilingual in French (speak/read/write) with excellent written communication skills who harbors a love for Nintendo products. If you have that warm and fuzzy feeling when you think of characters like Mario and Kirby, we want to talk to you! A commitment to customer service and learning new technical skills are also key to being successful here, as Customer Service Representatives can and will be adapting to new responsibilities and skills based on consumer demand.
WHAT ARE MY CORE DUTIES IN THIS ROLE?
Customer Service Representatives provide tier one network and troubleshooting support for Nintendo gaming systems. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
WORK-FROM-HOME REQUIREMENTS:
ALL APPLICANTS ARE SUBJECT TO BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN.
In addition, candidates must be able to pick up their equipment onsite in Redmond, WA and attend all days (which cover Monday-Friday) of the paid 2 to 3 weeks of training that kicks off this assignment.
THE CONSUMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS OPEN FROM 6:00 AM TO 7:00 PM, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. TO BE CONSIDERED, CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ANY FULL TIME (32-40 HOURS PER WEEK) SCHEDULE WITHIN THESE BUSINESS HOURS. THE EXACT SCHEDULE YOU'LL WORK FOLLOWING TRAINING MAY VARY EACH WEEK WITH SHIFTS INCLUDING THE MORNING (STARTING AT 6 AM), THE WEEKEND (SATURDAY/SUNDAY), AND CLOSING (ENDING AT 7 PM), SO CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE A FLUCTUATING SCHEDULE. HOLIDAY COVERAGE WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED (NOA IS ONLY CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, AND NEW YEARS DAY).
NINTENDO ASSOCIATES ARE ALSO REQUIRED TO TAKE A MANDATORY EIGHT-WEEK BREAK-IN SERVICE AFTER A MAXIMUM OF 48 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS ON THE JOB BEFORE THEY ARE ELIGIBLE TO RETURN FOR ANOTHER UP TO 48-WEEK PERIOD. ACTUAL BREAK DATES CAN BE ANY TIME BETWEEN THE START OF YOUR ASSIGNMENT AND THIS MAXIMUM 48-WEEK DATE.
