Estimator Opportunity Overview

Role Highlights
As an Estimator, you will:
- Review plans and specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare General Conditions and establish baseline schedules for subcontractors or self-performing teams.
- Track project costs and conduct research to determine project requirements in terms of money, materials, labor, and time.

Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate, write, and execute all subcontract agreements.
- Relocate to or near Sacramento, if necessary.
- Utilize strong communication skills to work effectively in a team and serve clients.
- Review and understand drawings and specifications, ensuring constructibility.
- Your Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, engineering, or architecture.
- Degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field (e.g., mechanical or civil engineering, construction tech, interior design, business administration) is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Background in Division 9 (Framing or Drywall) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods.
- Estimating experience with state/local projects such as school libraries, DMVs, veterans homes, homeless shelters, parks, and research buildings.
Compensation and Hours
- Salary: $75-95K
- Hours: Onsite, Monday to Friday in Las Vegas, NV Office
