Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 13 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Your Contribution
- Develop, grow and lead the Central Texas Civil Engineering Team, developing expertise in major areas of water resources, water/wastewater treatment, transportation and/or stormwater infrastructure.
- Utilize Parkhill’s Marketing and Business Development Teams to develop and execute a businesses development plan for the Central Texas Region. Integrate with the overall strategy of the Civil Engineering Division.
- Build long-term relationships with clients, teaming partners and industry leaders.
- Represent Parkhill as a technical expert at interviews and disputes.
- Work across Sectors and office locations to fully utilize Parkhill’s experiential knowledge.
- Ensure team members are practicing Parkhill’s keystone habits in all Areas of Excellence.
- Serve as Sr. Project Manager or Project Principal on large civil engineering projects.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Professional engineer registration in TX.
- At least 10 years of experience in one or more civil engineering specialties - water resources, water/wastewater treatment, transportation and/or stormwater.
- Expert level knowledge of civil engineering practices, principles and keep up with the ever-changing industry trends.
- Detailed understanding of engineering project management methods with the ability to plan a project start to finish, taking into account time, cost and resources.
- An effective leader with good communication skills, ability to motivate, and a strong team builder.
- Possess strategic and effective delegation skills.
- Expert level knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations.
- Ability to get your group on the same page and establish a team mission with the same goals.
- Maintaining a high level of organization to maximize business hours to achieve a solid life balance and to strategically prioritize tasks.
- Mastered the skill of proactively managing risk.
- Setting goals with a focus on the long-term needs of Parkhill.
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate their observations to design a system that will withstand the elements on the installation site.
- Experience working with state, regional and/or local public agencies - municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties and/or state agencies.
