    Job Overview: The Parking Lot Accessory Installer is responsible for installing various accessories and infrastructure components in parking lots, including but not limited to signage, bollards, speed bumps, wheel stops, traffic barriers, and lighting systems. This role requires the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient installation of parking lot accessories, while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Install parking lot accessories, including signs, bollards, wheel stops, speed bumps, traffic cones, lighting systems, and curb markers.

    Ensure proper placement and alignment of parking lot accessories according to project specifications and safety requirements.

    Prepare the site for installation, which may involve tasks such as digging, pouring concrete, or marking specific areas for placement.

    Operate tools and machinery such as drills, saws, post drivers, and concrete mixers to install various accessories.

    Inspect parking lot accessories for any defects or damage upon delivery and notify supervisors of any issues.

    Follow installation guidelines, blueprints, and safety regulations to ensure compliance with local codes and ordinances.

    Work in coordination with other crew members, ensuring that installations are completed efficiently and within the required timeframes.

    Maintain and clean tools and equipment after use, ensuring they are in good working condition.

    Perform routine maintenance and repairs on parking lot accessories, including replacing damaged signs or lighting components.

    Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients to ensure that installations meet expectations and resolve any issues.

    Adhere to safety practices, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a safe work environment at all times.

    Maintain accurate records of installations and any materials used, including tracking inventory and ensuring accurate reporting.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    Experience in installation or maintenance of parking lot accessories or similar infrastructure.

    Knowledge of basic construction and installation methods, including working with concrete, metal, and electrical systems.

    Familiarity with tools and equipment used in parking lot accessory installation, such as drills, impact wrenches, concrete mixers, post drivers, and hand tools.

    Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

    Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.

    Ability to read blueprints, installation diagrams, and site plans.

    Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate placement and installation of accessories.

    Effective communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Education & Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Previous experience in construction, installation, or related fields preferred (1-3 years).

    Experience with basic electrical work (for lighting and electrical components) is a plus.

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for travel between job sites.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).

    Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and crouch for extended periods.

    Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including sun, rain, and cold.

    Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.

    Working Conditions:

    Full-time position, with potential for overtime based on project deadlines and workload.

    Work is primarily outdoors, with occasional indoor work required for storage or preparation of materials.

    Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to complete installations or meet client schedules.

    Travel to different job sites may be required.
