    About us

We are an Academic & ADHD coaching practice that was founded in 2013 to help teens and young adults earn better grades with less stress by improving their mindset, organization, time management, and study skills. If you want to feel like your work is making a difference in the world and are excited by the idea of using your skills to help support a small, growing business that improves the lives of students and their families and helps children reach their potential, this could be the job for you.

    About you

We are looking for energetic, inspiring coaches with a talent for connecting with middle school, high school, and college students who would love to work 1:1 with students and families to help them reach their goals.

Ideal candidates for this role will have...

    • A bachelor's and/or master's degree in education, psychology, or a related field
    • Professional experience in one or more of the following areas…
      • Academic, ADHD, or Executive Function Coaching
      • Special Education or School Counseling
      • Mental Health Counseling, Therapy, or Social Work
      • ABA, Educational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech/Language Pathology
      • Academic & Study Skills Tutoring

You will be a great fit for this position if you are...

    • A friendly and approachable “people person” who loves connecting with others and often leaves meetings and conversations feeling even more energized than when you started
    • Reliable, organized, proactive, and attentive to details…someone who enjoys feeling productive, getting things done, and creating order out of chaos!
    • An optimist by nature…there isn't much that can stress you out! When challenges or setbacks arise, you're the one everyone else can count on to stay calm, positive & solution-oriented
    • A team player who enjoys collaborating with hard-working, motivated co-workers who are continuously trying to grow and improve in their roles and want to help you do the same
    • Excited about joining a mission-driven organization where the work you're doing every day has a positive impact on the lives of students and their families

    Job Responsibilities

As a part-time coach, you will be responsible for…

    • Meeting with students for at least 12 hours of coaching sessions/week

    • Connecting and collaborating with students and families to help them reach their goals

    • Identifying + planning the most important topics to cover in students' sessions

    • Communicating with parents about students' progress (by text, email, and phone)

    • Checking in with students by text or email between sessions as needed

    • Collaborating with teachers, counselors, tutors, and therapists, as needed

    • Engaging in 1:1s, small groups, team meetings, and other continuing education sessions

These responsibilities are all factored into the per-session rate we pay our coaches.

    Job Details

This is a part-time W2 role based in Atlanta, GA.

We are looking for coaches who are...

    • Able to meet with students at our office locations in North Druid Hills and/or Roswell at least 12 hours / week
    • Available at least 2 afternoons a week (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs: 4 - 8 pm)
    • Available during at least one weekend shift: Saturdays 10 am - 2 pm, Sundays 10 am - 2 pm, or Sundays 3 - 7 pm

The pay rate for this role is $45/session – including preparation, meeting time, and follow-up (see list of responsibilities above)

Please note: The number of sessions you have each week will vary – coaches typically have fewer sessions during the summer, holidays, when students are sick / traveling, etc. If you need a part-time job with a consistent weekly paycheck, this opportunity will probably not be the best fit for you.

    Opportunity for Growth

This position will be part-time for the spring semester with the possibility of moving to full-time for the fall, which provides a consistent salary and benefits including healthcare, 401k matching, and paid sick time.

This timeline would be a perfect fit for teachers or other professionals who are considering changing jobs in the next school year and would like to gradually transition into a new position over the next 9 months.

    Next Steps

If this role sounds like a great fit for you, please submit an application to be considered. We look forward to connecting with you soon!
