    Job Summary

    Northern Geo, LLC, a leading manufacturer of geothermal heat pumps and renewable energy products, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our accounting and finance operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accounts Payable: Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
    • Accounts Receivable: Prepare and send invoices, record payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
    • Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
    • Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Support the preparation of financial reports and budgets as needed.
    • Assist with payroll processing and related record-keeping.
    • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting and finance matters.
    • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
    • Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is a plus.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Working Hours
