Location: Long Beach, CA 90802 Company: West Coast Trans Alliance

The Part-Time Accounting Specialist will assist the Accounting team with daily tasks. This role will focus on accounts payable for our carriers and customers. This is an in-person role with the option to work 730a - 12p or 12p - 430p. Expected weekly hours are 13.50 - 22.50 with the ability to increase hours with business needs.

West Coast Trans Alliance was established to improve our clients logistics constraints by providing customized and transparent solutions through any mode of transportation.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Assist with carrier payables

Upload carrier invoices

Keep track of loads pending to be billed

Follow-up with customer pending approvals

Respond to customers and carriers in a timely manner regarding invoices.

Review and manage Accounting Spreadsheet

Assist in clearing TMF/CTF

Review and manage Pier Pass Account

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience working in Accounts Payable and/or within the Logistics industry preferred. However we are willing to train the right candidate.

Strong communication skills to interact professionally with internal and external parties.

Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and function in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Must be authorized to work in the United States
