    Growing real estate development firm in Chesapeake is looking to add a part-time Administrative Assistant to our team. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, dependable, punctual, organized, and has superior customer service skills. Flexible daytime working hours are available. This is an in-office position; remote or hybrid schedules are not available. Must have a valid driver's license. Responsibilities: • Answer and route phone calls • Collect and deposit mail daily • Run errands and city submittals as needed • Maintain homeowner and property records • Update homeowner guidebooks as needed • Complete closing documents for management team • Coordinate buyer orientations with the Superintendent and Real Estate Agent(s) • Coordinate and oversee repairs noted on the walk-through punch list • Respond to warranty calls and e-mails in a timely manner and coordinate warranty appointments with homeowners and subcontractors • Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Business Suite, and Builder Trend for daily tasks • Administrative duties as required by Management Team • Construction or Property Management experience is a plus Qualifications: We’re looking for a positive person who excels at being a team player, you will be working with a small team of staff who are all are accountable to each other. No one on our team is above making a cup of coffee for a guest, taking out the trash, or running an errand. The ideal candidate will need to be able to talk to people (all people...including employees, subcontractors, clients, visitors, salespeople, and the general public) in a manner that is polite, professional, well-spoken, and that puts them at ease. The average workday in our office can be fast-paced and you may need to quickly adapt to new circumstances or juggle multiple tasks at once.
