Part-Time Afterschool Nanny ($40,000 - $55,000 Annual Salary)

A loving and engaging family is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Afterschool Nanny to provide exceptional care and enrichment for 2 children ages 2.4 and 4 years old. Main responsibility will be caring for the 2.5 year old. This long-term position offers stability and a rewarding opportunity to foster the growth and development of the family's children.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $28 - $35 per hour

• Vacation: 5 paid vacation days in the first year. 10 paid vacation days starting the second year. Paid Federal Holidays

Start date: ASAP

Schedule:

• March – June: Monday - Thursday: 2 PM - 7 PM; Friday: 2 PM - 6 PM
• July: Monday - Friday: 12 PM - 7 PM (Child out of camp at 12 PM)
• August: Monday - Friday: 9 AM - 5 PM (Both children at home)

• Commitment through September 2025

Primary Responsibilities:

• Picking up the child from Pre-K (school ends at 2:30 PM)
• Engaging in creative and educational activities (crafts, library visits, etc.)
• Providing a nurturing, motherly presence to minimize temper tantrums
• Occasional meal prep/snacks for the child

• Light tidying related to child’s activities

Candidate Qualifications:

• Must be caring, compassionate, and hands-on with children
• Must be engaging and interactive to keep the child entertained and focused
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Must have own car for commuting (everything else is walkable)
• Comfortable with small dogs
• Provide 3-5 professional references
• US work authorization
