Job Summary

Volkmann Appliance (Winona MN) is looking for delivery/install personnel to join our team! As a Delivery/install team member, you are a key member of our team! You are responsible for delivering and installing household goods to our clients. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis. Delivery hours are Monday thru Friday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. This is a part time position working 20-30 hours week. Need to be available to work Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

1 Year delivery driving experience preferred

Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes

Follow route and schedule

Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle

Basic hook up and leveling of appliances.

Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.

Assist with warehousing of appliances.

Assist with preparation of appliances for the next day's deliveries.

Other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Excellent organizational skills

Basic mechanical ability

Heavy lifting is required

Must be able to work independently

Must have excellent time management skills

Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors

Work Hours: Part time (25-30 hours) must be available to work Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, occasional overtime maybe required.
