We are changing the game by providing high quality and regularly scheduled supervisory support which help you make a difference in your clients’ lives. POP Therapies specializes in home/clinic early intervention. Gone are the days of seeing your client 2 times a month!

    Small caseloads (6 cases max for full time BCBAs!) help our BCBAs make a world of a difference for your clients!

    Compensation: Is dependent on education, experience, and languages spoken.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    Check RBT session notes, data, and timesheets for all sessions rendered when due.

    Maintain clients’ confidentiality.

    Provide weekly supervision to Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs) working with clients.

    Develop a child-specific behavior plan in accordance with the principles of ABA and the families socially significant goals.

    Train each staff member on their client’s specific behavior treatment plan.

    Monitor the data weekly to ensure that treatment is effective and/or modify as needed.

    Modify any programs that are not making progress or that the client has mastered.

    Conduct assessments not limited to the VB-MAPP, ABLLS, or Vineland-3 upon intake and ongoing at minimum every 6 months.

    Track all authorizations dates for clients and update all treatment plans before authorizations expire.

    Monitor and adjust behavior plan throughout treatment period in accordance with the child’s progression.

    Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) as needed.

    Provide effective weekly parent/caretaker training.

    Provide direct coverage as needed.

    Qualifications and Skills

    Currently looking for Part-Time (10-28 hours/week) with the option to go full time.

    Block schedules for consistency and better programming

    Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or BCBA-D.

    Two or more years’ experience preferred, but not required.

    Early intervention/education experience preferred.

    Excellent verbal communication with staff, families, and other professionals.

    Reliable transportation- you may be driving to client’s homes or the community in the North Orange County area.

    Valid CA drivers license, clear DMV report, valid car registration, proof of auto insurance.

    Pass background check and provide TB Test clearance.

    Being bi-lingual is a plus!

    Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and organizational skills.

    Physical requirements vary. You may be asked to engage in any of the following: push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly, according to client needs. It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, bend, stand, walk, and run.
