The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors. Responsibilities: • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections. • Conduct regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations. • Assist with pool, sauna, and fitness center maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry. • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring efficient resolution. Qualifications: • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • Availability for on-call hours, including weekends. • High school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years of related experience or equivalent training. • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
