Job Description

Homewatch Caregivers® is a non-medical, in-home care agency. We provide unique care to adults of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in the comfort and safety of their preferred residence. We are currently seeking a social, caring individual to provide support to one of our veteran clients. This client is an older male who lives on a farm in the Doylestown, PA area.

He is a friendly man, who enjoys sharing stories and cracking jokes. This client is of sound mind and able to direct his own care. He wears leg braces and will need assistance putting them on. Additionally, he uses a walker and will require supervision to avoid falls. This particular client would thrive with an upbeat caregiver who provides companion care and quality social engagement.

PART TIME POSITION. MORE CLIENTS/SHIFTS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST

Responsibilities/Job Duties

• Must be physically capable of assisting clients with mobility issues, transportation, and ambulation.

• Provide simple meals as requested from client (i.e. fruit & tea).

• Assist client with dressing and personal hygiene for the day.

• Interact and engage with client through conversation, activities, and emotional support.

• Support client during toileting as needed. This includes changing briefs and personal hygiene.
