Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and course development, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), and learning management systems (LMS).
- Knowledge of Learning Theories: Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and best practices in online education.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on a part-time schedule, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including subject matter experts and other stakeholders.
- Creativity: Strong creative and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to design innovative and engaging learning experiences.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring all courses are accurate, error-free, and of the highest quality.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues related to course design, content, or technology, and implement effective solutions.
- Flexibility: Adaptability to changing priorities and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Professional certifications in instructional design (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP) or related areas are a plus.
- Experience with Accessibility Standards: Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and experience designing courses for diverse learner needs.

- Type: Part-time contract position
