    Position Summary

    We are seeking a licensed and client-focused Part-Time Esthetician to join our dermatology team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality skin care treatments, educating clients on products and home care, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about skincare, and committed to maintaining a clean and professional environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Consult with clients to understand their skincare goals and recommend personalized treatment plans.
    • Assess skin types and conditions to determine suitable procedures.
    • Educate clients about upcoming procedures, products used, and possible side effects.
    • Perform a variety of esthetic services including:
    • Chemical peels and microdermabrasion
    • Blackhead removal and hair removal
    • Exfoliation and skin toning
    • Facials and steaming treatments
    • Recommend home care regimens and promote retail skincare products.
    • Maintain accurate client records, including medical history and treatment notes.
    • Escort clients to and from procedure rooms and create a welcoming atmosphere.
    • Prepare and sanitize procedure rooms and equipment before and after each service.
    • Monitor and manage inventory of skincare products and supplies.
    • Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
    • Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the workspace.

    Qualifications

    • Valid Esthetician license in the state.
    • 1+ year of experience in esthetics or a medical spa/dermatology setting preferred.
    • Knowledge of skincare treatments, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion.
    • Comfortable educating and consulting with clients on skincare routines and product use.
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
    • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively.
    • Familiarity with skincare product lines and upselling techniques is a plus.
