Part-Time HR Associate

About the Role We’re a growing, community-driven team looking for a Part-Time HR Associate to help us stay organized, support our staff, and build a positive workplace culture. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a team running smoothly—from onboarding new hires to making sure our HR files and processes are in order.
You’ll work closely with leadership to support day-to-day HR tasks, track important deadlines, and help us improve how we manage and support our people. If you're organized, approachable, and looking to grow your experience in a small and flexible environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Employee Support & Onboarding
Assist with new hire onboarding—offer letters, background checks, orientation, and training checklists
Keep employee records up to date and organized (digital and paper)
Help answer basic HR questions from team members or route them to the right person
Support team communications around policies, benefits, or trainings
HR Compliance & Administration
Track key HR deadlines (e.g., evaluations, renewals, certifications)
Help maintain compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and safety protocols
Assist with creating or updating internal forms, policies, and documentation
Support with audits or reporting as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Background
1–3 years of experience in HR, admin, or office support roles
Familiarity with basic HR tasks like onboarding, filing, and compliance
Skills & Traits
Friendly, professional, and approachable
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Discreet with confidential information
Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
Bonus: Familiarity with HR tools like Gusto, BambooHR, or similar platforms
