We are seeking a caring and reliable part-time in-home nanny to help care for our six-month-old daughter, Della. The position is flexible, as the schedule is not fixed, but we may need assistance on weekdays and occasional weekends. Preference will be given to candidates whose first language is Spanish, as we value introducing Della to a bilingual environment.
Responsibilities:
• Providing attentive care for Della, including feeding, diaper changes, and age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting her development through interactive play, reading, and tummy time.
• Preparing and cleaning bottles and managing expressed milk when needed.
• Light housekeeping, such as folding laundry and keeping baby areas clean and organized.
Requirements:
• Experience caring for infants is essential.
• Spanish as a first language is highly preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Trustworthy, nurturing, and patient personality.
• Comfortable assisting with light household tasks.
• References from previous childcare positions.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with infant developmental milestones.
• Understanding of breastfeeding and pumping routines.
Compensation:
Hourly pay will depend on experience and qualifications. Considering both childcare and light housework, we suggest offering $18 per hour, with room to adjust based on expertise.
