Seeking a proficient and seasoned Mechanic to become a valuable addition to our team. The perfect candidate will possess advanced skills in the upkeep and restoration of a range of trucks, trailers, and small engines utilized on a daily basis within a Landscape Contractor setting. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the seamless and effective functioning of our operations. Location: Shakopee, MN, US Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and make repairs on a fleet of trucks, trailers, zero-turn mowers, spray rigs, and other equipment. • Keep detailed records of maintenance performed and parts used. • Maintain a clean and organized Shop and Yard, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored. • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. • Communicate effectively with the management team regarding the status of vehicles and equipment. • Possible plowing work in the winter if interested. • Trucks are mostly Ram Trucks 2019-2023. Mowers are mostly Scag and Exmark. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on both truck and trailer maintenance and small engine repair. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. • Experience with hydraulics preferred. • Welding and light fabrication experience. • Ability to research mechanical issues on your own. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Valid driver’s license. • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive or small engine repair is a plus. • Plowing experience, if interested. Compensation: $26 - $34 Hourly
