This is a great opportunity for an experienced property manager/leasing agent who is looking for a flexible, part-time position. Applicants will need a complete understanding of current landlord-tenant law, fair housing law, and good people skills. This is a hands-on position, where you will be the face of the company to all residents and applicants across multiple properties. All applicants must be personable, computer literate, and own reliable transportation. Weekend work will be required, when needed, to tour vacancies and attend to time-sensitive issues/notices. Part of the job duties can be completed remotely.
Our south King County portfolio totals 71 units in seven apartment properties and two single family homes. All buildings are located within a 15 minute drive from our office in Renton. You will be working directly for the owner rather than a third party manager. We self-manage all our properties and nearly all units have been substantially renovated.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Marketing, unit tours and tenant screening
Taking and responding to tenant inquiries
Enforcing lease compliance, creating, and delivering tenant notices
Monitoring and maintaining property curb appeal
Providing weekly reports to ownership
Move-in and move-out inspections
The position can grow into a full-time position with expanded job duties for the employee who is effective, competent and motivated.
The base salary is $40,000 per year, plus incentive income and annual bonuses determined on employee performance. The time requirement is estimated at 20 hours per week. All candidates must have prior experience in property management, pass a background check and have verifiable references.
