Job Description
The Gold's Gym Montrose Facilities maintenance team member shall be responsible for the general maintenance and supervision of the facilities with the aim of ensuring the users have a safe and enjoyable experience. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
The Gym Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of all gym facilities and equipment. Key duties include:
Outdoor Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and safety of outdoor areas, including landscaping, pathways, and parking lots.
Plumbing: Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including restrooms and showers.
Electrical: Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including lighting and emergency systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Gym Equipment: Conduct regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on fitness machines and equipment to ensure safe and optimal operation.
This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Carry out any related activities upon request by Supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience requirements:
Experience in assembly of gym equipment highly desirable
Fluency in written and oral English and local language is required.
Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel and database software advantageous.
