Part-Time Math Instructor/Tutor (Ideal for Students and Retirees) We are currently only seeking year-round help. We do not have a need for people only looking for a summer position.

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver instruction in-center, online, and/or via hybrid formats using the Mathnasium Method™ and teaching practices

Collaborate with team members to provide personalized instruction within a group setting

Assess students' learning progress and engagement during instructional sessions

Familiarize yourself with digital educational tools and processes

Help maintain a safe and conducive learning environment

Qualifications:

Passion for mathematics and a genuine desire to work with students

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with learners

Willingness to learn and undergo training

Proficiency in mathematics, including at least Algebra I

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Must be willing to work year round (we are not looking for summer only employees)

All applicants will be required to complete a math literacy test to demonstrate proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
