Part Time Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant **
Job Location:** Atlanta, GA. **
Job Schedule:** Part Time; 2 or 3 days a week; Shift time is 8:00am - 4:30 pm. **
Pay Range** : $80,000- $85,000 per year (for three day working week). Actual compensation may vary and will depend on multiple factors including relevant qualifications, experience and education.

Full Description:

VitalCheck Wellness is looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in a corporate wellness clinic at a global wealth-management firm located in Atlanta, GA. The NP/PA will lead the operations of the clinic and provide preventive care and primary care services to the employees of the firm. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working with a new model of wellness clinic where you will have the ability to be part of the process of building something new.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general wellness checkups, proficient in well-women exam and well-male exam.
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns. Guide, educate and support patients on their preventative care needs.
• Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
• Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.
• Provide primary care and urgent care.
• Provide Diabetes prevention based on pre-designed program.
• Able to work in a team environment, may need to do phlebotomy or injections if nurse not available.
• Collaborate to develop and implement policies and procedures for a newly established clinic.
• Creation of educational content including blog posts, handouts and podcasts.
• Plan and participate in engagement activities for patients and event planning.

Requirements:

• Active clean Nurse Practitioner license or Physician Assistant certified to practice in (State).
• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
• Must have clean background & clean medical license history.
• At least three years of clinical experience as a NP/PA in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, EMR systems.
• Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Focused on preventive medicine and patient education.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and employees with good bedside manner.
• Must be able to reliably commute to Atlanta, GA.
