Part-time Real Estate Handyman Maintenance position available in Lake City, FL, US. Seeking an experienced Onsite Maintenance professional to handle repairs, cleaning, and upkeep tasks. Responsibilities include basic fixes, ensuring unit functionality, and maintaining curb appeal. Tasks involve plumbing, painting, flooring repair, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance. The Ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills and relevant experience Responsibilities: • Expect 15 to 20 hours a week • Work alongside the Onsite Property Manager • Make sure the tenants are safe and happy in their place • Perform minor and major repairs on the property • Replaces broken windows; repairs doors, door locks, and closets; installs window blinds • Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on property equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures • Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches; repairs refrigeration equipment • Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed • Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required • Assists with the renovation/remodeling of the units; repairs plaster and drywall; paints property structures, installs flooring • Obtain quotes for supplies and repair parts; order parts as needed • Violations, rent increase notices, inspection notices, etc. • Ensure timely vacancy turnaround • Ensure consistent quality, curb appeal, lawn care, asset preservation, and risk management according to company standards Qualifications: • 1 year of responsible experience in property maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience • Good abilities in the use of hand and power tools • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina Compensation: $14 - $20 hourly
