Real Estate Handyman & Maintenance We are looking for a part-time skilled Onsite Maintenance to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes and ensuring our units are tidy and functional, maintenance and repair. You will also ensure to maintain the property with curb appeal. Tasks include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs, and heating and air conditioning system maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. Responsibilities: • Expect 15 to 20 hours a week • Work alongside with Onsite Property Manager • Make sure the tenants are safe and happy in their place • Perform minor and major repairs on the property • Replaces broken windows; repairs doors, door locks, and closets; installs window blinds • Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on property equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures • Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches; repairs refrigeration equipment • Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed • Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required • Assists with the renovation/remodeling of the units; repairs plaster and drywall; paints property structures, installs flooring • Obtain quotes for supplies, repair parts; order parts as needed • Violations, rent increase notices, inspection notices, etc. • Ensure timely vacancy turnaround • Ensure consistent quality, curb appeal, lawn care, asset preservation, and risk management according to company standards Qualifications: • 1 year of responsible experience in property maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience • Good abilities in the use of hand and power tools • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina Compensation: $14 - $20 hourly
