    As a Part-time Recreational Coordinator, you will assist with program development, lead classes, organize staff training, help with evaluations, coordinate administrative tasks, and more. You will report to the General Manager or Owner during your shifts and provide support throughout the facility as needed.

    We have a fun and rewarding work environment that’s perfect for anyone who enjoys working with children and adults of all levels and abilities. Paid continuous training is provided. This is a full-time position that requires weekend availability and the ability to problem-solve on an on-call basis as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    Program planning: Developing, organizing, and leading activities for participants with special needs

    Teaching: Instructing gymnastics classes for participants of different ages and levels

    Safety: Ensuring the gym is safe for participants by checking equipment, reporting accidents, and administering first aid

    Staff management: Hiring, training, and supervising instructors

    Communication: Informing parents of program policies and information

    Equipment management: Purchasing, managing, and setting up equipment for each class

    Program evaluation: Reviewing participant feedback and making adjustments to activities

    Conduct yourself with professionalism at all times.

    Be a team player who is consistently dependable and reliable.

    Complete required training and be a continual learner.

    Maintain all necessary safety/health logs and supplies inventory.

    Smile and have fun during your entire shift.

    Qualifications:

    Caring and compassion for children and adults

    Prior teaching experience

    Strong ability to problem-solve with great attention to detail

    Great attitude and willingness to be coached
