About Us:

Pestmaster of Central Houston is a growing pest control company serving the Houston area. We are seeking a Responsible Certified Commercial Applicator to oversee compliance and train an apprentice in a flexible, contract role.

Contract Length: 12–14 months

Responsibilities:

Serve as Responsible Certified Applicator for our business license with the Texas Department of Agriculture

Ensure compliance with state and federal pest control regulations

Provide oversight, guidance, and compliance verification for pest control operations

Conduct 40 hours of hands-on training for an apprentice to develop their pest control knowledge and skills

Compensation:

$600 per month + $40/hour for hands-on training

Flexible, part-time contract role – limited time commitment required

Additional compensation available for training and oversight in Termite, Weed Control, and Lawn & Ornamental

Requirements:

Active Texas Certified Commercial Applicator license in General Pest category

Must be eligible to act as a Responsible Certified Applicator per TDA regulations

Ability to provide periodic in-person training sessions and compliance check-ins

Must operate as an independent contractor (1099 position, not W-2)

Experience in training or supervising apprentices in pest control preferred
