Responsibilities: • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests • Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities • Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations Qualifications: • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
