Job Description

• Execute the fine dining experience commensurate with JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery’s mission statement and core values
• Breakdown of tables and chairs and reset the dining area for the following day
• Ensure compliance with all closing duties as determined and published by the Restaurant Manager
• Polish glasses, trays and flatware and return items to designated areas
• Wash glasses and other items as needed
• Maintain the cleanliness of the guest-facing spaces, bathrooms, walkways, etc.
• Assist the dishwasher and kitchen team with trash removal & break down and cleaning as needed
• Put away tools and equipment at the end of the night
• Attend staff Hospitality meetings
• Responsible for communicating dining room supply needs to the Restaurant Manager
• Learn to help carry or clear plates when needed

Qualifications

• 1 year restaurant experience (front or back the house)
• Proven success working in a customer service position or industry
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
• Must be able to perform basic calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
• Genuine understanding of the importance of providing outstanding customer service
• Grace under pressure; a strong sense of urgency, insistent attention to detail with a desire to exceed customer’s expectations
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour, plus tips per scheduled shift. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
