The Shipper / Receiver is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all products that are received and/or shipped.
During their shift, Shipper/ Receivers work in three main functions of the department: receiving, inventory control and shipping. They will work to company guidelines with respect to quality control, safety, and standard operating procedures to execute an accurate and on-time shipping function.
This is part time job hours per day: 5 hours maximum. Will depend on work volume Days worked: Monday through Friday Suggested schedule 11am to 3pm
Assist with the flow of goods; shipping and receiving of product
Obtain and process product orders
Receive, register and distributing packages and letters within the company
Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items
Assist with large shipments and planning of the logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items
Tracking and reporting to leadership: back-orders short-list items, and unfulfilled orders
Requirements
Experience in a Shipping or Receiving position
Experience operating forklifts
Fork-Lift Certification required
Able to operate company inventory equipment (such as scan guns), required
Able to maintain an environment that drives performance and a safe workplace
Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds
Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
Ability to work Monday-Friday
Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives
